I am studying for the priesthood in the Roman Church. This is an excellent resource for Church History. It is refreshing to hear the eastern perspective.

I'm not Eastern Orthodox and don't belong to a denomination. But Jeff McDonald's lectures, especially on Augustine in terms of his Manichean background and influence in Calvinism, have been very helpful to me and are deeply insightful. I suppose one could say I'm a "non-Calvinist" Protestant. However, I always seek to find the things all Christians have in common. Eastern Orthodox folks have much in common with my more "Arminian" beliefs, though I didn't get them from Arminius (see, The Holy Bible), :).
